Glorious Harvest Ministries
Statement of Faith
We Believe:
1. That the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Scriptures are the Supreme, inspired and infallible Word of God.
2. There is only one and perfect infinite God who is the Creator, Preserver, and Governor of all things. He is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent.
3. The one true God is revealed in the Scriptures as the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost which makes the Godhead, and these three are individual in essence and co-equal in power and glory
4. That God has fully revealed himself to mankind in the person of Jesus Christ, born a virgin birth, lived a Sinless life and in Him, the divine and human nature are united making him truly and fully God, truly and fully human.
5. That the first human, Adam & Eve, were innocent at creation but fell through the sin of disobedience, lost their fellowship with God, were banished from paradise and as a consequence of their fall, all men have become sinners, totally depraved and are justly under the wrath of God, needing redemption.
6. That God sent is His Son Jesus Christ to be the perfect propitiation for man’s sins. By Christ’s suffering, death, and resurrection, he made atonement for the whole world, so that whosoever that believes in Him may have everlasting life.
7. That redemption may be obtained only through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. We must repent from our sins and confess Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. Salvation does not depend on man’s works but on God’s Grace through faith in the finished works of Christ Jesus.
8. In the immortality of the soul of all men; in the resurrection of the body; in the general judgment at the end of the world; in the eternal happiness of the righteous and the endless punishment of the wicked in eternal damnation.
9. That continued Salvation depends on continued obedient faith in Christ and that, it is possible that one may lose his salvation.
10. That God has set in the Body of Christ the five-fold Ministries; Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors and Teachers; and hold that God calls, appoints and anoints men into these offices and callings for the edification of the body of Christ.
11. In the sacraments of water baptism of the regenerated by complete immersion; and in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. In the cultivation of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit and operations of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. And also in the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.
12. In the obligatory nature of, and the believers’ obedience to tithes and offerings.
